Anthony Compton

Education: 

PhD, Biomedical Engineering– Georgia Institute of Technology/Emory University (2022 – Present)
BS, Biomedical Engineering – Georgia Institute of Technology (2018-2022)

Biography: 

Anthony joined the Sulchek lab in 2022 after getting his B.S here at Tech. He has previously worked in the cancer space, testing various chemotherapies on glioblastoma cells as well as working at Jacksonville’s Mayo Clinic to improve patient outcomes for upper-tract urothelial carcinoma and prostate cancer patients. He is now using label-free microfluidic cell sorting to improve current autologous retinal-cell therapies. Anthony loves playing his bass and playing tennis with friends.
