Crossdisciplinary Science Fair: Dunwoody High School

We are working with DHS to create a cross-disciplinary science fair, matching physics students with biology students on teams in order to create projects  that are at the cutting edge of science.

Summer 2012: Welcome Chaiya Matthew (DHS 2013), Sara Srivastav (DHS 2013)  and Ms. Afrose Arshi (DHS Biology Teacher) to the lab to study cell mechanics.

December 2011: 35 students from Dunwoody High were hosted by the Bioengineering and Bioscience Unified Graduate Students (BBUGS) organization for a tour of Georgia Tech and participate in engineering competitions.

Summer 2011: Welcome Kenny Lin (DHS 2012) and Angeline Pham (DHS 2012) to the lab to work on microfluidic separation of particles.

Roswell High School

Dr. Sulchek and Alia Lahr (RHS 2011, now at Penn) studying capsule formation.

Youth Outreach at Georgia Tech

With Youth Outreach, we work with the youth of Atlanta to improve enrichment studies in science and engineering!
