Research Project:

Cell Stiffness as an Indicator of Stem Cell State and its Applications to High-throughput Purification

  • Proposing cellular stiffness as a single-cell indicator of osteoblast differentiation for mesenchymal stem cells
  • Investigating the relationship between cellular mechanical properties and gene expression on the single-cell level
  • Purifying target subpopulations of embryonic stem cells using microfluidic sorting based on cell mechanics
